Climb from the plains into Alishan's tea country. Walk the mist trails above the plantations and share an evening tasting with a tea-farming family.

Day 2Alishan giants & sunset — early night
Forest railway into the recreation area, thousand-year cypress trails and a guided forest-healing session; sunset at Ogasawara lookout, then an early night before dawn.

Day 3Sea-of-clouds sunrise — to Sun Moon Lake
Pre-dawn ride to the sunrise platform. After breakfast, descend through bamboo country to Sun Moon Lake; afternoon boat crossing and Ita Thao lakeside village.

Cycle the lakeside bikeway in the misty morning, ride the ropeway for a last panorama, then transfer back to Taichung HSR.

At 2,200 m, expect 10–15°C cooler than the plains — bring a warm layer even in summer. We provide a packing note after booking.
What language does the guide speak?
All tours are led in English by licensed local guides. Mandarin is available on request, and Japanese/Korean-speaking guides can be arranged for private groups with advance notice.
What happens if it rains?
